Ministry Endorsements

I have known Jeanne McDowall for quite some time, firstly in the Church as she served the Lord, where I was immediately drawn to her conduct before the Holy Spirit. And, as Jeanne led the meeting where I first met her, I watched as she immediately invited the Holy Spirit to both lead and control the meeting we all attended.
Over the years since our first meeting, Jeanne, who as a fellow pastor has become a friend, and seeing her continued passion for the lost and her desire to see many healed both physically and emotionally has only enhanced her reputation among fellow pastors in the Community and Mission Field we all serve in.
I’ve attended many meetings and watched the work of the Holy Spirit in those meetings. Jeanne waits for His presence to fill the room, and under the Holy Spirits anointing, moves with authority through the meeting place touching all present; I’ve seen many healed from sickness and others set free from controlling ungodly spirits, many others also experience a first-time personal encounter with the Holy Spirit and were saved in those meetings.
It is with pleasure that I give this Testimonial both freely and without reservation. In an increasingly complex and ungodly world, Jeanne relies on the raw and unfettered power of the Holy Spirit working in those meetings to see souls saved, bodies healed, and lives set free to also serve and worship the Lord.

I have known Jeanne McDowall (Smith) for about three years. She and I have worked together in ministry at St. John the Divine on several occasions, beginning in 2005. She has led several healing and prayer missions on weekends and during the week along with helping to train our prayer ministers. She has met in home groups with other small groups at St. John the Divine, especially with a group of young, married families I lead.
I asked her to lead our annual family retreat with over 200 of our members in New Braunfels, Texas, in March 2006. Throughout the weekend we all experienced a powerful presence of the Holy Spirit, we saw several marriages restored, and many people healed. This has been common when Jeanne ministers among us.
I have also had several private appointments with Jeanne where she has prayed for me and given me counsel. She taught my wife and I and new form of prayer that has benefited my prayer life greatly.

As Senior Pastor of Alamo Heights United Methodist Church it is my privilege to commend to you the ministry of Jeanne McDowall (Smith). Jeanne’s prophetic ministry among us has been both anointed and accountable. The anointing is apparent in both the messages Jeanne conveys and in the loving way she conveys them. Our participants in her times of ministry have truly experienced God’s touch. Jeanne has also been accountable to the leaders of the church. She has been careful to meet with me and talk through the tenor, details and parameters of her time with our church. She has been unfailingly consistent in delivering God’s word in a manner that builds up the church, even when God has given her messages that herald the painful process of godly change in our lives and church.
Personally, I have been encouraged be Jeanne each time she has been with us. She truly has a heart for pastors and an understanding of the blessings and heartaches of church leadership. I look forward to Jeanne’s next visit to us and commend her as a faithful and gifted servant of Christ to you.

As Pastor of Prayer and Spiritual Formation at Alamo Heights United Methodist Church and chaplain of the Order of St Luke the Physician, it is my pleasure and honor to recommend to you a beautiful Christian lady and servant of Jesus Christ, Jeanne McDowall (Smith).
I have come to know Jeanne over the past two years as she has visited our church and met with our church prayer ministry on several occasions. She has spoken informally with us as well as prayed with and for us, sharing her prophetic gift and the healing power and love of Jesus Christ. She spoke at informal gatherings, our healing service on Wednesday evening, and also to our church staff. We were so impressed by her love of the Lord and the ways He uses Jeanne to share His message of love and healing, that we invited her to be our keynote speaker at our annual “Healing Prayer Conference” on October 29-30, 2005. Her topic was “Healing and the Prophetic” and we had nearly 200 persons in attendance for the event. The weekend time with Jeanne was a wonderful blessing for all who were present and the Holy Spirit moved mightily among us bringing blessing and healing.
Jeanne is very much aware of the Holy Spirit’s movement among churches of every type to bring down the diving walls that separate us. Although she does not come from a denominational background, she respects and honors each church’s approach to the Gospel and works with the pastors to provide experiences that will bless a congregation.
Should you invite Jeanne to come to your church, you will discover that her sweet spirit, dynamic and Power-filled ministry, and the inspiring Word of the Lord that comes through her will surely bless your church and your congregation.

This is a letter I am happy to write, for I recommend Jeanne McDowall (Smith) wholeheartedly for a spiritual time day or week to any church or group.
She has visited the Holy Presence Episcopal Church, Deland, Florida, on many occasions. Her talks offer great spiritual reflections of the most significant Christian insights, using her personal observations and thoughts with quotes from Holy Scripture, ancient authors, sermons, hymnody, and poetry.
Her spiritual directions are well researched and beautifully given. That is to say, the sensually engaged, the more one appreciates and experience the opening of Holy Scripture. While the Biblical stories engage our verbal perceptions, those stories capture our visual sensibilities.
Every contact I have had with Jeanne McDowall (Smith) has merited my high regard for her ability and character. It is a pleasure to recommend her.

My purpose in writing is to commend Jeanne McDowall (Smith) without reservation. Jeanne is a superbly sensitive minister of the love of Christ, the truth of the Holy Scripture and the power of the Holy Spirit flowing through those who believe and are willing to receive it. Her only agenda is His agenda and she is agile and adept in getting out of His way that those she ministers to may receive from Him.
Jeanne us quite sensitive to whatever environment and group she is ministering in and is able to meet them wherever they are coming from. She is particularly careful to make certain that she understands thoroughly the desires and wishes of the Pastor under whom she is ministering, carefully remaining sensitive to the Pastor’s ongoing authority as her ministry is in progress. Being married to a Pastor enables her to be particularly careful about this aspect of ministry.
Most importantly, Jeanne is “The real deal”. By that I mean she doesn’t promote herself, some doctrine or denominational perspective or even any particular spirituality such as pentecostal, evangelical, sacramental, etc. She comes to minister the love of our Lord for all who are created in His image, and the ministry in usually pretty impressive, and sometimes even awesome.
Jeanne will not disappoint anyone who gives her opportunity to minister because she doesn’t minister in her own strength or ability, but His.
Reverend Robert M Anderson, Rector, The Church of the Holy Presence, Orlando, Florida, USA
